Sam Blake comes to the XPRIZE Foundation with over six years of experience in research and analysis, which has included stints in the media industry, U.S. government, and as a social entrepreneur. His ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively help him in his work on XPRIZE’s Impact team, where he helps to design XPRIZEs and Impact Maps.
Prior to joining XPRIZE full-time, Sam was a member of the 2017 Alzheimer’s XPRIZE Visioneering team that was selected as the winner at the October 2017 Visioneering summit. He has been an analyst for the U.S. Government Accountability Office, a supervisor for an award-winning team at Major League Baseball Advanced Media, and a freelance reporter for NPR-affiliate station KCRW. Sam has also co-founded two startups, one of which was a national finalist in the 2017 Hult Prize Competition co-sponsored by the Clinton Global Initiative.
He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MPP from UCLA Luskin, and a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Michigan.
